Includes minutes from the East Florida Telephone & Telegraph Co. (1904-1924), a ledger on the Gainesville Post Office (1867-1889), two minutes-books from the Gainesville Board of Trade (1886-1888), a ledger from Endel & Herman (clothiers-1882-1885), and the minutes of the Interstate Life Insurance Co. (1913-1915). Internal evidence and outside research have provided only limited information on the significance of the other ledgers, but they could still be useful to any researcher studying the Gainesville area and Florida businesses in these time periods.
